16 Days - Kerala Karnataka Birding Tour

On the first day, as you arrive in Bangalore, you will be taken to Mysore, which is 5 hrs away from Bangalore airport

As we reach Mysore, we enable you to check into your hotel.

After relaxing and freshening up, you will be taken Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary for birding tour. 

Later return to hotel  evening  if time permits visit of Palace / Brindavan Gardens on this day.

Overnight stay will be at the hotel only.

On this day after breakfast at Hotel proceed to see  around Mysore city which has left behind on previous day  later drive to  for the Nagarhole National Park ( Kabini ) . As we reach there,  will check-in to the lodge.

later then go for a jeep safari in the afternoon and roam around the National Park.

Come back and spend the night at the sanctuary lodge.

In the early morning, -leave for National Park and watch miraculous birds and animals. On this very moment, there is no dearth of animals, which are active and are easily visible or  Jungel Safari to sight Tigers and other animals in the forest. With the help of  naturalist.

 Later in the afternoon to go for a boat ride on the Kabini River. The fun is not over as We thereafter come back and retire for the night in the wildlife lodge.

After breakfast at hotel you will be proceed to Masinagudi enquite bandipur Which is around 210 Kms 6 hrs drive.

Masinagudi wild life sanctuary is one of the famous wild life Sanctuary in India which is part of Mudumalai national park and declared as Tiger reserve center which is connected with Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Kerala..

On arrival check in at hotel either at Madsinagudi nor at Bandipur.

After noon an exclusive Jungle safari in a private jeep .  

As far as forest departments  concern these jungle safari may not be available at Kabini / Bandipur or any other forests in South  due to fire in the forest / Man eating tiger / Wild elephants attack  etc  -which is not often in South india

 Your overnight stay will be confined to the tents.

Today will be as a free day   to go for Jeep ride through the jungle  or for birding tour .there are  many different types of birds available in these region like  blue faced Malkoha, Emerald dove, pale billed flowerpecker , White – naped woodpeacker  etc   evening return to hotel

This day is reserved for Bandipur and we embark on our tour in the early morning. We also go on the B.R. hills. On our reaching the Bandipur National Park, we take so

After breakfast at Hotel drive to Ooty . Which is around 30 Kms  - basically  is knows as queen of the hills . One of the best ideal place for birding tour.  you may check in at  Hotel and proceed for birding tour / toy train ride  - in normal case used to start from Ooty to  Coonoor  or wise versa , there can 2^nd clss tickets available if you reach the station in advance evening return to hotel.

Today you will be driving to Parambilulam national park later proceed for canter ride through the forest.

It is very famous for Tiger reserve- ride will be almost 53 kms through heart of forest which will take around 3 to 4 hrs  . There will be one naturalist from the forest depts.  Who will accompany the canter in the forest

Safari will be conducted through buses operated by Parambikulam Forest canter only .

Later n the  afternoon proceed for birding tour the experienced naturalist to spot many different types of birds in the forest.

Overnight stay in camp with in the forest.

After breakfast at Camp proceed for birding tour / canter ride through the forest.

Evening return to Camp overnight stay at Camp.

Today you will be traveling to Munnar which is another Hill station - proceed to Munnar – 5 hrs drive to Munnar.

Check in at hotel later proceed for Eravikulam national park. Private vehicles are not allowed as per the forest low however clients will be taken in a jeep belongs to forest departments for almost 3 hrs where you can see Tharr Goat which can be seen only in Munnar – Munnar hill stations are very famous for Neelkurinji as well – to see many 

Evening return to the hotel.

Today you will be taking in to  tea plantation estate visit which is belongs to private party Treking  with in the tea Plantation will be  very interesting .

Ensure to carry Glouse and covered shoe  later visit of tea museum the local market return to hotel evening  optional for birding tour / trekking – Munnar is one the famous destination for trekking  through tea Plantation 

110 Kms away /5 hrs drive to Thekkady where the Famous Tiger reserve Forest called Periyar wild life sanctuary.

Most of the wild life activities are happening with the forest only like boat ride at thekkady, trekking, evening return to hotel

Today you will be taken to  spice plantation visit  through the naturalist which takes about 1.5 hrs  followed  by green walk through forest.

 Later the afternoon trekking through the forest / martial arts / kathakali dance  Many activities  in day can be available

Today after breakfast at hotel check out and proceed to Thattekad bird sanctuary-  is about 13 Kms  from Kothamangalam  and one of the most popular national parks of Kerala.

Full day at Thattekad to visit Birding tour overnight at Hotel

After breakfast at Hotel early in the morning proceed to the forest as per the naturalist‘s instruction to spot different types of Birds.

Later drive to Kumarakom to boad houseboat

This day is dedicated to drive to Kochi. It involves nearly 3 hours journey. We spend the rest of the day touring Kochi.

On this day, as it constitutes the last day, you will be taken to the airport in the evening, from where you will catch the flight for your destination.

The tour ends but not the memories.
