16 Days - Tamil Nadu and North India

On Your  arrival at Chennai international  Airport, our representative would receive you transport  you to the  hotel for checking  to stay there overnight.

Early morning drive in the forenoon visiting Fort St. George, St. Thomas Cathedral and the museums. In the afternoon, drive to Mahabalipuram starts.  

On arrival, check- in the Hotel for overnight stay.

After  breakfast,  departure is scheduled for visiting  Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance and  Five Rathas (Chariots).  In the afternoon, drive from Mahabalipuram to Kanchipuram, the golden city of thousandtemples.  

This temple complex is one of Hinduism's seven most sacred cities of the early Chola dynasty  of the 2nd century.

Drive back to Mahabalipuram  for overnight stay.

Early morning drive to Tanjore covering 300 km  in  6 hours.On arrival, a visit to Brihadewswara Temple built during the Chola dynasty in 2nd century.

After breakfast,  departure drive for Madurai via Trichy is scheduled.   On arrival at  Trichy,  we are to visit Srirangam temple and  Rock fort.

After the visit, we resume our  journey to Madurai.  

On arrival, check-in a hotel for stay overnight.

After breakfast in the morning, set out for a visit to Meenakshi Sundareshwar  temple complex built between the 16th and 18th centuries.  

Afternoon at leisure followed by overnight stay at hotel. Next morning, drive to the domestic airport to board the scheduled flight for Mumbai. On arrival, our representative will transport you to the hotel. 

 Check in the hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast, leave the hotel for scheduled visits to Gateway of India, Elephanta Caves, Marine drive and  Prince Wales Museum.  

On concluding the visits, get transported to the airport to board your flight to Udaipur.

Morning drive after breakfast to visit the main tourist attraction of  Udaipur, City Palace. Then drive on to visit the garden of the Maids of Honour and Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum.

At the sunset,  cruise around in a boat amidst the romantic waters of Lake Pichola followed by overnight stay at the hotel.

The day is at your  leisure to roam around in the city.  In the evening, drive to the domestic airport to board flight for Jaipur.

On arrival, our representative will transport you to the hotel. Check in for overnight stay.

Early morning drive for 11 km to reach Amber, the erstwhile capital of the Rajput kings from 1037 to 1728 AD.

Reach the hill-top on Elephant back to reach the Amber fort.  After visiting the Fortified Palace, drive further to visit the City Palace, Birla Temple, Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of winds.

Overnight stay in a hotel.

Six hour morning drive from Jaipur covering a distance of 260 km to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri.  This is a masterpiece in sandstone with the elegant palaces and courts.

After the visit, we resume our journey and  on arrival at Agra, check in the  hotel for stay overnight.

Agra is a city of world fame for Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. Agra is the erstwhile capital of India under the Mughal Empire.

Taj Mahal was built by Shahjahan in memory of her wife Noor Jahan with her tomb.  

Next place to visit is to Agra Fort which is replication of Red Fort in Delhi.  Evening at leisure followed by overnight stay in hotel.

After breakfast, get transported to domestic airport to board flight for Khajuraho.

On arrival, Check in the hotel and spend the evening at your leisure before overnight stay in the hotel.

After breakfast, embark upon  morning sightseeing tour  covering erotic temples built between 950 and 1050 AD by the  warrior kings of the Chandela dynasty. 

 After the trip, get transported to the domestic airport to board flight for Varanasi.

Check in a hotel for overnight stay in Varanasi.

The tour starts with early morning boat ride at the river Ganges. Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we are on drive to Sarnath covering  a distance of 12 Kms. 

Visit the Budhist temple at Sarnath  where Lord Buddha is said to preached his first sermon after Enlightenment.  

In the evening, get transported to airport for your scheduled flight to Delhi.

A guided tour of Delhi starts in the early morning beginning with a visit to Old Delhi locating historical  Red Fort built in 1648 housing the Mughal Emperors and their army, India's largest mosque ‘Jama Masjid’  and Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat.

In the afternoon, visit India Gate, President's House, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar to conclude the tour.
